Letting Go
When we practice Shibashi we learn to let go, all the forms are carried out with minimal effort. Muscles and tendons relax, joints open and we let go of physical tension and emotional stress. This is a great relief to the body which starts to function without the stress of modern day living. Once we learn to let go physically , we can let go emotionally. This is helpful. Emotions like anger, pain, joy, sorrow are all normal part of human existence , but so many of us have pain and anger about things that happened in the past which can cause problems.
